La Gacilly at the heart of decarbonization
Responsible mobility is a crucial pillar for the Rocher Group, integrated into our 5 action levers for our La Gacilly project: Low Carbon Territory by 2025. Our objective is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions related to the transportation of people and goods in the region.
Our goals to achieve by 2025:
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 75% at our inter-site goods sites.
- Raise awareness of responsible mobility among 100% of our employees.
To date, in La Gacilly, a reduction of 69% in emissions due to transportation has been recorded.
Marion Decroix, Quality and Sustainable Development Director for Groupe Rocher Operations, stated: "Sustainable mobility is one of our priority areas of work to reduce our carbon footprint. It's a complex issue that integrates various challenges such as employee and goods mobility, from local to international scales. As often, collaboration is at the heart of transformation, and the Mobizi event has contributed to strengthening the momentum!"
Marion spoke at two Breton events dedicated to decarbonized mobility in La Gacilly on April 4th.
These events were marked by constructive exchanges, inspiring conferences, and stimulating workshops, highlighting the challenges and opportunities of decarbonizing transportation in the region.
Marion spoke at Mobizi, a roundtable on "Sustainable Mobility and CSR," sharing enriching expertise.
Mobizi represents the first Regional Days of Decarbonized Mobility in Brittany, organized on April 4th and 5th in La Gacilly by the dynamic team of Ekinox. This inaugural edition was a great success, bringing together public and private actors around innovative solutions for more responsible mobility in Brittany.
As an official partner, Groupe Rocher is proud to have supported this major event, thereby emphasizing our commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
She also participated in the Mixenn Tour de la Gacilly, sharing the group's strategy for decarbonizing goods transportation.
The Mixenn Tour de la Gacilly was an opportunity to discover alternative solutions to diesel available or planned in the region, to identify needs, and to bring forth concrete solutions for transition and energy sobriety. This event laid the groundwork for long-term cooperation among economic, political, and business actors, and for exchanging and cross-referencing perspectives to activate the levers of ecological transition in transportation.
Rocher Group is deeply honored to have contributed to these events, and we commit every day to minimize our environmental footprint.
